The 2017 Spring Fling was a HUGE success!
We had more than 200 people attend the festival, which included food trucks, games and local vendors and artists.
We even had a special surprise visitor, Dr. Halkiotis, Chairman of the Orange County School Board, who gave the event RAVE reviews. He was so impressed that parents and teachers would give their time on a weekend for a school event.
Mr. Oeschle, HES’s famed art teacher and published author, was on hand to sign copies of his book, “The Lost Cipher”. — click here for more about this book
Mr. Zatt was the sole faculty volunteer for the DUNK TANK and students lined up for the chance to take him down . . . and down he went into the water, time and time again . . . all afternoon!
We are certainly thankful to all the volunteers, including PTA members, teachers, parents and local high school students. In addition, many HES families donated items to make up gift baskets for the silent auction.
Kim Ward and Heather Bolduc, Co-chairs of the HES PTA Social Committee put hours and hours of work into organizing this event so all HES families could enjoy a day of fun, games, and community spirit .
